The Chin Up! Al nido del falco facility is located in Basilicata on the Lucanian Apennines, in the Sellata area at 1250 meters in the municipality of Abriola, 20 km from the capital of Basilicata, Potenza.
The entire Chin Up project bases its philosophy on sustainability, green practices, and environmental recovery, seeking to raise awareness and promote the protection of the land and nature.
The facility is surrounded by greenery, and we guarantee guests a break from daily life, ensuring a 360-degree interaction with the colors and sounds found in nature.
The facility is equipped with a restaurant whose activity is essentially based on the consumption and transformation of raw materials from the local area and the Lucanian territory, with excellence

Lucanian products, from cured meats to cheeses, especially caciocavallo and goat cheeses; we aim for the quality of the products so that the customer can have a superb experience of the area in every aspect. You can also taste fresh pasta, typical of Lucania, as well as Lucanian meat and desserts made here on site.
Overnight stay service in a cabin
The facility has three wooden cabins, each cabin consists of two rooms: a double room and a twin room with two single beds and a bathroom, for a total of 12 beds, 4 per cabin.
The facility for overnight stays in a cabin provides bed linen and a set of towels.
It is possible to exclusively book a cabin equipped with an outdoor Finnish hot tub for 4 people, both with hydromassage and chromotherapy. The hot tub is functional in all seasons, especially in winter when there is snow.
The formula proposed by Chin Up! includes overnight stay with breakfast. One of our fundamental principles is “zero waste”; we focus on a sustainable philosophy and always guarantee zero-kilometer food. In addition, by reservation, it is possible to have lunch and dinner with the à la carte menu.

Fresh pasta workshop, desserts, and many other Lucanian and Italian delicacies.
Ski lifts and slopes, snowshoeing both during the day and at night, excursions, yoga, yoga trekking, moon trekking, forest bathing, gong bath, horseback riding, astronomy, independent walks through the woods to admire the beautiful beech forests in the area, a walk to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Monteforte di Abriola where you can admire all the peaks of the area and observe the wild Lucanian nature.
We recommend visiting the town of Abriola, the town of lovers, whose patron saint is Saint Valentine and the celebrations for the saint and town festival are on February 14th. Also in town, you can visit, by reservation and accompanied by a guide, the beautiful De Stefano Palace, the caciocavallo podolico cave, and the historic chocolate shop of the town…
How to get there
Directions: recommended exit Potenza Ovest,
you can enter Pignola into the navigator, you will immediately find the signs at the roundabout in the city and you can take the first exit on the right.
Pignola is a town about 10 km from Potenza, indicated on the road signs. Once you arrive in Pignola, if the navigator tells you to turn before the only gas station in town, you need to ignore the instruction and continue straight along the main road, passing through the town. As a reference, follow the signs for Abriola and Calvello. Gradually, you will leave the houses of the town behind and begin the 7 km of hairpin bends to climb the mountain.
After a few hairpin bends, you can enter the location of Chin Up! Al nido del falco which is on Google Maps which leads directly to the destination.
